David and Sammye started ministering together at the age of 17. Their ministry started with street ministry to teenagers and has continued over the years in various forms. They have served churches as children's ministers and youth pastors, in prisons, on the streets and in foreign countries.

For the past 15 years David and Sammye have attended Church on the Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There they served in the Children and Youth Department for over 12 years. David studied and graduated from Willie George's School of Ministry.

David and Sammye have also served as teachers of children and youth ministry at Victory Bible Institute, Victory World Missions Training Center, Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas; Rhema Bible Training School in Columbia; and Bible Training Centers in Africa and Asia.

In 1997 they joined the International Missionary Center as the International Children and Youth Ministry Directors and are ordained through Living Word Missions, Inc., the parent ministry. Through the IMC they were able to reach and train students and workers from over 35 nations with the vision and practical training of children and youth ministry. They have helped to facilitate the ministry of Back Yard Bible Clubs, Youth Ministries, and Children's Churches in Africa, Europe, Philippines, Central and South America, reaching youth and children who would never enter a church. Ordinary Christians who have listened and learned from the teaching and caught the VISION of reaching the young have accomplished great feats in Muslim nations.

In 1998 David and Sammye established an orphanage and a school with Temple Outreach Children's Ministry in Monrovia, Liberia and continues to facilitate and support the facility. The orphanage is home to 27 children and elementary/Jr. High School to the community with 75 Students. Land was purchased in 2002 and a new building was built in 2004.
